This is an ENTRY-LEVEL job that requires few skills as the products we manufacture are very unique and we are willing to train as much as necessary. The position calls for the following tasks (this is not a complete list of tasks): Ability to cut parts to length using regular scissors. Trimming and sanding parts. Part inspections (identifying defects). Reading and following traveler instructions. Performing product tests and documenting results. Applying adhesive to parts. Dimpling parts according to work instructions. Splicing parts according to work instructions Stamping parts and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail is very important in this position. Employees are required to use a variety of hand tools like scissors, sanding boards. Measuring equipment such as rulers, calipers, measuring tape. Use of small drills and dimpling presses. The use of inks, epoxies, adhesives, cleaning solvents. The hours for this position are Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm. With the possibility of some overtime and some Saturday work depending on need. Job pays $20-22/hr. to start. Willingness to learn and grow can help this position evolve into other tasks and/or departments.
