$500 HIRING BONUS Job description Sierra Roof Inc. is looking for a Construction Manager who will be assisting the Production Department. This position is an opportunity for someone who meets the below requirements and desires to learn and grow within the company. Job Summary: The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, supervising, and inspecting the work of skilled roofers and trade personnel. This includes site visits, which require the ability to climb up/down ladders or scaffolding, read plans, complete paperwork, enter data, and communicate in a professional and efficient manner with customers, crews, builders, and office staff. The ideal candidate must be accurate, focused, responsible, organized, task and completion oriented, punctual, flexible, and a team player. The role requires good planning and management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships. Duties/Responsibilities: Scheduling project dates with customers and crews · Maintaining and organizing specific shared files and all specific correspondence. · Ordering materials and scheduling deliveries Scheduling project dumpsters for delivery and pick up Ensuring jobs are completed on time Performing final walk-throughs with homeowners to ensure jobs are completed to the homeowner’s satisfaction Performing site checks to ensure job sites are cleaned at the end of every workday Transport materials to job sites Provide consistent communication with all parties as schedules change Creating a closeout package upon project completion. Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Scheduling experience (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word. Google sheets. Able to manage multiple projects daily Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow all written and verbal policies, procedures, and instructions that are implemented by Management Problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Able to drive a company truck and possess a valid driver’s license Able to insert order materials into an electronic ordering system Adhere to safety provisions required by law Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 85lbs Able to climb up/down ladders or scaffolding onto roofs daily Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of general work experience Construction Office: 1 year (Required) Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred) Preference: Speaks both English and Spanish is a plus License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour
