Scratching your head? Well you heard it right. You’ll notice the title didn’t say all parents. Further, the parents were specifically speaking of are ones that have children at least 18 years of age and older who are in the Work force who we’re taught a good work ethic and responsibility by somebody. We assume good parents Or someone else assuming that roll. Thank you for teaching them that they are only as good as their word. Thanks for teaching them that effort matters. Thanks for teaching them responsibility Is a big deal in both directions. Being responsible is the hallmark of any worker in any line of work. Thank you for teaching them to follow the directions. Thanks for teaching them that they’re not the sum total of their past mistakes. That each day is an opportunity to do right and not rationalization to continue the same path and expect Forgiveness. Thanks for teaching them that anger At the system doesn’t mean everyone’s at fault. Thanks for teaching them that the biggest compliment an employer Can give(after money) Is responsibility. Thanks for teaching them That following the rules, even if you don’t like them, Matters. Thanks for teaching them, Honesty. We didn’t say everyone had success. We just say thanks for the attempt. We also say those of you parents Who failed to even attempt any of the above as you took on or are taking on that awesome responsibility.… Shame on you. Our “tail end of our donkey“ still hurts from Our parents reaction to our Poor decision making when it came to responsibility to a job we didn’t particularly like… And that was 40 years ago. A time when parents Could be “direct“ in “getting their point across.“… Even if it meant Putting it in a future post as you attempt to find people for your business. If you were parented By someone or people that put some effort into it then you’ll understand that when we say no phones on the job it’s not a opportunity to defy authority but it makes the work easier. If you’ve ever tried to use a wheelbarrow with one hand (because the other is holding a phone to your ear)… Or plant a tree. Just sayin. You gotta be honest with yourself… Am I able to do some physical work from time to time. Can I lift 75 pounds or so? Can I get a little red earth dirty and a little sweaty(sweat is what the body does to cool itself) And not freak out thinking you’re bleeding to death. Get it? Red dust dirt mixed with water? Work with me people! Do I have my own transportation to and from The northwest part of the city. Do I understand that if I text only that I probably won’t get a call back. Even if it makes no sense to me. I understand that this employer won’t hire if I can’t follow directions. That their experience makes them weary of people who can’t follow the most elementary and simplest of directions. They’ll think that I may require more supervision than I am worth. 405-408-5089
