A family owned tree care company, we are looking for an experienced Plant Health Care Technician for our Oklahoma City, OK, office. We are putting down new roots and expanding the family business. We are currently looking to add a Plant Health Care Technician to our team of experts. As a Plant Health Care Technician, you will have the unique opportunity to communicate with customers and discuss their Plant Health Care needs, as well as selling and applying the needed products.   Your future at Arbor Masters:   When you join the Arbor Masters team, you are joining our work family. The opportunity is all yours and what you want to make of it!  As a Plant Health Care Technician, you would be responsible for:   Performing pesticide applications, including but not limited to: fungicide and insecticide sprays and fertilizer applications  Ability to identify basic insects, diseases, and trees  Identifying and comprehending chemical labels  Contacting homeowners upon arrival at the job site, reviewing work to be performed and noting any changes or add-ons before beginning work  Completing a thorough inspection/evaluation of the entire property for plant health concerns before leaving job site and submitting notes to supervisor, and collecting payment   Performing fertilization services in accordance with AM standard operating procedures, ANSI A300 standards, and OSHA safety regulations and utilizing safety PPE  Completing a daily checklist for truck maintenance (including notification of routine maintenance or repair for shop mechanics)  Traveling from one job site to another, utilizing maps, street guides, and other directional resources  Requirements:   Must be a team player with a positive attitude!  Must have a valid driver’s license   Must be at least 18 years old  Ability to follow directions and work independently   Ability to complete labor-intensive outdoor work with exposure to a variety of weather conditions   Ability to navigate uneven terrain, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis  Possession of a Certified Pesticide Applicator License is preferred, 3A  Industry experience or Associates Degree in related field is preferred  Benefits: Health Insurance  Dental Insurance 401k with company match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Wellness Program Reimbursement Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Career Advancement FSA Our Core Values are Commitment, Innovation, Integrity, Safety and Stewardship.
