We are seeking a hard-working and reliable person to join our team. You will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow instructions from project managers. To be successful in this position, you will work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks. Although experience isn't essential, you will have to be motivated and willing to learn. General Laborer Requirements: • Must have valid driver's license • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 60 lbs etc.) • Commitment to safety and health rules • Excellent communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude • Attention to detail • Dependable *Experienced and well-rounded in general residential construction is a plus Tasks: • Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites to eliminate possible hazards • Pick-up & delivery, unloading & loading materials, tending machines, performing demolition and other various tasks • Efficiently assist carpenters, project superintendents, project coordinators and project managers in performing & maintaining high-quality work • Dig ditches, trenches, back-fill excavations, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes • Assemble or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures • Communicate with project managers, finish carpenters, and project coordinators about schedule This is a full-time position (typically 40 Hours per week) Typical work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Monday-Friday) Compensation: negotiable Please EMAIL your resume or a brief summary of your work.
