During the past 10 years, I have routinely scoured archives of old hymnals and gospel songbooks, looking for lyrics that can be modernized. There are thousands of such songs accessible on the internet. Sometimes I'm able to revise lyrics that I find and then I set (re-set, actually) them to music. However, more often than not, the lyrics that I find are more difficult to modernize than my first impression. So, I'm interested to connect with people who may have skill/talent/interest in creating lyrics that can be set to music. Your age, education, background, or your location really doesn't matter. What does matter is that you are interested in collaborating and that you possess a strong evangelical faith in God. I am a long-retired military officer, residing in the Stone Oak area.
