DAVIS CENTER and SERCAP have partnered to host a free course teaching entrepreneurial mindset training. The 2-day will be held at the Davis Center located at 23531 Parks St, Parksley, VA. The course uses curriculum from The Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative’s (ELI) ICE House Program. The mindset training program is designed to help individuals meet the new demands of a technology driven and constantly adapting world. The curriculum covers a variety of concepts, including: Power of Choice, Recognizing Opportunity, Ideas into Action, Pursuit of Knowledge, Creating Wealth, Building your Brand, Creating Community, and the Power of Persistence. Program participants will gain knowledge, develop skills, and get connected to resources that will enable them to improve their own economic self-sufficiency, and establish entrepreneurial opportunities in their communities. The Davis Center seeks to serve all members of the community in a thoughtful and enriching way that promotes individual growth and pride. We have curated programs led by experts and influencers that focus on cultivating the seeds to allow members to nurture their lives toward holistic fortitude. We believe that if we foster and nourish the talents of the community everyone involved will not only dream bigger but also be bigger. Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, Inc. (SERCAP) is a Roanoke, VA based 501©3 nonprofit organization that works to improve the Quality of Life for low-income individuals by promoting affordable water and wastewater facilities, community development, environmental health, and economic self-sufficiency. Register today to enroll in the ELI program. ***The group will meet Saturday, 21 May and Sunday, 22 May from 12pm to 7pm.***
