A networking event to enable direct collaboration between hunger-relief organizations to optimize efforts & overcome barriers to feed people
Non-profit organizations who are actively fighting hunger in Washington State are invited to a networking event with the goal of enabling direct collaboration between hunger-relief organizations to optimize efforts and overcome barriers to feed people.
Doors will open at 11:30 and the event will start with a little networking and time to get settled in the theater (all seats have tables). At 12:00 we will begin short non-profit presentations from the stage where organizations will have the opportunity to talk about their vision/mission, who they serve, their superpowers, and their bottlenecks for about 6-8 min each. Non-profits can also choose to listen only. Presentations will run for approximately two hours, and we will reserve time at the end for additional networking over snacks and drinks.
Bring lots of business cards and come prepared to humble-brag about the difference you are making in your communities. This is also a great place to cheer for one another and feel inspired.
Feel free to bring up 2 people from your organization. Please don’t wait until the last minute to reserve your tickets – we will be basing presentations, catering, and other logistics decisions off of the number of tickets reserved.
Once organization representatives able to attend have reserved seats we will reach out to collect speakers and presentation materials (if desired). We will prioritize smaller and/or BIPOC non-profits if the number of presenters outpaces available time. This is an informal event that is approaching quickly, so don’t worry about being polished or practiced. Just come ready to talk about what you know.
We hope you can make it!
