The African Student Association presents "My Africa Night".
My Africa Night is an annual event geared towards clarifying the misconceptions about the continent and empowering Africans and the diaspora on campus through celebration of African culture and African beauty.
This year's theme for Africa Night is “Faaji” - which is Yoruba for Enjoyment.
We want to celebrate what brings each of us joy.
Including Song, Dance, Drumming, Visual Art, Spoken Word and more. Working in tandem to demonstrate the enjoyment of African culture.
Campus and community audiences will be subject to Denison Covid restrictions and guidelines in place at the time.
This event is located in Burke Recital Hall within the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts.
COVID Policy information: In addition to the Denison community, we are currently able to welcome fully vaccinated members of the public. You will be required to submit either your Denison D# or share your proof of vaccination when ordering your ticket. Family and Public ticket availability ends 24 hrs before the event.
