The Youth Documentary Academy presents new films from 2020 and 2021 on Thursday, June 2, in the Celeste Theatre at Colorado College. The classes of 2020 and 2021 present new films produced in the Youth Documentary Academy in partnership with faculty filmmakers. Stories from our community as diverse as the youth who made them -- from being a refugee to climate strikes, from autism and hearing loss to trans and LGBTQ+ identities, from first generation immigration to black music -- this day and evening promises to inform, illuminate and entertain. General admission tickets include access to both screening blocks -- an afternoon block at 2pm and an evening block at 6pm + candy and popcorn. VIP level tickets inlcude both screening blocks plus a dinner/reception at 4:30pm in Studio C in the Cornerstone Building to meet the filmmakers.
