Our purpose for fundraising is in support of graduating students, and we also are seeking funding to continue to support BLSA's initiatives. Greetings, My name is Jordan Rodriquez and I write on behalf of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law of the Black Law Students’ Association (“BLSA”). The mission of the Black Law Students’ Association is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Our organization hosts an annual scholarship and awards banquet to conclude the academic year. Here, we celebrate our achievements, honor our alumni, and empower the next generation. This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at 6:00pm at the CSU Glasscock Ballroom. Meal options are Chicken, Beef, and Vegan. The theme for this year’s banquet is “Lift As We Climb”, representing the need for the legal community to embrace our young aspiring attorneys to shape them into great attorneys, as well as the duty for members of the legal community to give back to the greater community.
