Join us for our monthly Wonder Girls Volunteer Day where we bring together a community of amazing young women to educate and empower. Join WONDER GIRLS, for our monthly VOLUNTEER DAY! This event is open to high school and college students. Space is limited to 15 students. Today, our Wonder Girls will experience a special blessing of the soil and gardens at Catholic Charities, a non-profit organization in Rockland County that serves the community by providing support and food to families and individuals in need. Our Wonder Girls will also help to restock the shelves of the food pantry with donated food. Space is limited. If you already have Wonder Girls shirts, please wear them or you can purchase your Wonder Girls gear on eventbrite and pick it up in person at the event! Please note that this event will be photographed and promoted via social media and on the Wonder Girls website and newsletter. ***COMMUNITY SERVICE: A key component of the Wonder Girls program is to instill a sense of social responsibility and the importance of giving back to those in need. Each month Wonder Girls partner with local organizations to host a Volunteer Day. Our Wonder Girls gain hands-on-experience and learn about various careers in the non-profit sector. Wonder Girls is a non-profit | after-school program for high school girls with a mission to build confidence, leadership, community, and business skills.
