Join Altavista On Track for the River Fest, featuring live music, food truck, & a petting zoo. Free general admission. Altavista On Track (AOT) is excited to host the inaugural Altavista River Fest at English Park in Altavista on Saturday, May 14ᵗʰ from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The event will feature live music, food & dessert trucks, regional breweries & wineries, outdoor recreational exhibits, artisan vendors, lawn games, a petting zoo, and kid’s entertainment. This is a free general admission event. Food and beverages will be available to purchase. A valid ID is required to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages for adults 21 and older. AOT is a nationally accredited 501(c)3 nonprofit and an affiliate of the National Main Street and Virginia Main Street programs. In partnership with the Town of Altavista, we work to provide business assistance to downtown businesses while also organizing family-friendly community events that bring people downtown throughout the year. Proceeds from the event will be reinvested to further AOT’s mission of revitalizing the downtown district, fostering economic development and opportunity, and providing leadership to enhance community identity and pride.
