The Bluegrass Teacher Leadership Summit is an ECET/EdCamp-style event that will reimagine professional learning for public education in KY.
The Bluegrass Teacher Leadership Summit (BTLS) is a professional learning event that aims to bring together the existing teacher leadership cohorts that have existed across Kentucky for the last decade to reignite their passion and utilize their insights through intentional conversations and collaborative experiences with local and state educational organizations.
At the same time, the Summit will also introduce emerging leaders in the classroom to a variety of solutions-oriented professional learning sessions that focus on issues they currently face in their classrooms, giving them tangible outputs that they can implement in their pedagogical practice.
For administrators, coaches, and district leaders the Summit provides time to attend sessions, speak with those in similar roles across the state, take part in Problems of Practice, solutions-oriented small-group conversations, and meet with educational partners and organizations from Kentucky and the nation.
