Meet Barbie. She is a large long haired female cat, she is not fixed, UTD on shots. Barb as I call her has had a VERY hard life. My grandma was her owner for the last year and sadly she recently passed away. She was rescued from a very abusive situation which has left some emotional scars. Barb should not be in a home with small children or other cats. She doesn't care for dogs but has not shown aggression unless they mess with her. Barb can become mean (hissing/biting/scratching) if she feels uncomfortable or not given space after she's warned you. She will need someone who is patient and will help her heal. She can be an absolute sweet heart once she gets to know you and become comfortable with her environment. Unfortunately I have two small children and pets of my own. I would love to keep in contact with whoever takes her. And prefer to deliver her to her new home to help her settle in and say our good byes! And if there is any problems or it just doesn't work out I will gladly take her back. There will be a rehoming fee due to bad people who take free pets and hurt them. She would make a great companion with a single person or an older couple!
