Join us at Pease Park for a special storytime. Author Tray Wheeler will be reading her book Eugene The Unicorn. Join us at Pease Park at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19th, for a storytime with Tray Wheeler! She will be reading her children's book Eugene the Unicorn, a book she wrote and illustrated herself. After the reading she will have a fun coloring activity for kids and will have copies of the book available to sign and sell. Originally from Miami, Tray went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida where she received a degree in illustration. Growing up she had always felt different from her peers, and has managed her way through it with the help of the LGBT+ community. As an author Tray's mission has been to write children's books for those that feel left out or different, and takes it upon herself to create unsuspected heroes in her work. We are so excited to have Tray as part of our storytime series and cannot wait to see you there!
