NORTH BERGEN, NJ — The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission announced the closure of the North Bergen Licensing Center after one employee tested positive for COVID-19. Announced Monday evening, the facility will be closed until Jan. 2, the NJMVC said. The employee who tested positive was last at the North Bergen Licensing Center on Friday, officials said. There are 13 MVC Centers currently closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at each location. These centers are scheduled to reopen on the following dates: Wallington Vehicle Center – Wednesday, Dec. 23Edison Licensing Center – Thursday, Dec. 24Bayonne Licensing Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Paterson Regional/Licensing Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Vineland Licensing Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Turnersville Vehicle Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Jersey City Vehicle Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Somerville Vehicle Center – Saturday, Dec. 26Wayne Licensing Center – Thursday, Dec. 31Newark Regional/Licensing Center – Thursday, Dec. 31Rahway Licensing Center – Thursday, Dec. 31East Orange Vehicle Center – Thursday, Dec. 31North Bergen Licensing Center – Saturday, Jan. 2 This comes as the NJMVC announced an extension to the closure of the Wayne Licensing Center, also on Monday.
