April brings together Earth Day, Food Loss and Waste Awareness and Greensboro's 1st annual Mayor's Food Waste Challege held April 21-27 at participating restaurants. Hear from Robin Davis, owner of Maxie B's in Greensboro on how she has turned her business into a model of sustainability practices from the patio garden to the compostable egg shells. Also hear from Laura Oxner, Director of RePurpose, a food recovery initiative of A Simple Gesture and the model Guilford County has become in NC for the support of hunger nonprofit agencies and the mitigation of GHG.
