LAKELAND, FL — Jonathan Gautier, owner of Lakeland's Sound House Studios, has been nominated for the 64th Grammy Awards taking place Sunday. Gautier posted a picture of the nominee letter sent to him by the 64th Grammy Awards on March 17. Gautier said in the post he dreamed of this happening but didn't always know how it could. "This honestly couldn't of happened without the opportunities and the people who have trusted me with their talents," Gautier said on Facebook. "When times were bleak wondering if this studio could ever get off the ground, I could have dwelled in that and grown resentful. Instead, I chose resilience and used the chip on my shoulder to continue to work on my craft. Please know that when it feels like no one sees your hard work, someone is and one day you will have that opportunity if you just step into it. Stay blessed and humble." Some of the big names that have trusted Gautier with his talents are Taylor Swift, Bleachers, Lorde, Clairo and Diana Ross. Songs he has worked with these artists on can be listened to right here on Sound House Studios' portfolio page. Gautier earned an MA in musical technology at the University of Central Florida, a bachelor of arts in digital media. Sound House Studios is located at 113 South Florida Avenue, Lakeland. The 64th Grammy Awards will air on CBS Sunday, April 3, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. For a full list of nominees, click here.
