A powerful one-day conference equipping advocates, support friends and foster families to better care for children impacted by Trauma.
Foster the City, in partnership with Southlands Church, is excited to host an interactive, one-day simulcast of the Hope for the Journey Conference. This conference will encourage and equip parents and caregivers to meet the needs and challenges of children impacted by adoption and foster care. Though the conference material will include a specific application for kids from hard places, the content is applicable to any parent, children's ministry worker or caregiver. The conference is structured around five high-level learning modules based on the foundational principles of Trust-Based Relational InterventionĀ® (TBRIĀ®) along with a fifth teaching component on the Gospel and TBRI.
Breakfast (served at 7:30 am), snacks and coffee are included. There is no childcare for this event.
