Live in concert: acoustic roots rocker Ritt Deitz and multi-instrumentalist son Wilder Deitz, in support of their new album, HINGE. Ritt's tenth album, HINGE, features son Wilder Deitz on every track, including a few originals by the younger Deitz. Madison's (WI) Isthmus called Ritt's songs "earthy, ethereal and intelligent," and Cincinnati's City Beat said he "glows with an aura similar to Springsteen at his most organic." Wilder first his the road with his dad on Ritt's AFTER THE MOUNTAINS tour and has played with him ever since. Since their last tour (Horses and Smoke), Wilder has founded the Wilder Deitz School for Creative Music, seeding the Midwest with future musicians and ensembles from hip-hop to string music to soul. His own music has been hailed as "show-stopping" (Tone Madison) and "absolutely beautiful" (Synesthesia blogger Scott Collins). This show kicks off a four-state tour, ending back in Madison for a hometown record-release party. Come get the new album and hear what father and son put together during the pandemic.
