OYSTER BAY, NY — Firefighters in Nassau County were recently recognized at a ceremony for saving the life of an unconscious resident who was trapped in a burning Old Brookville home. On Tuesday, the Town of Oyster Bay honored firefighters of both the Glenwood Hook & Ladder, Engine & Hose Company and the Roslyn Rescue Fire Company for their swift and brave response on Dec. 14, 2021.
