Description
WIMAUMA, FL — If Spot needs his doggy vaccinations and times aren't the best for your wallet right now, a free shot clinic for dogs is available Saturday in Wimauma.
Hillsborough County Pet Resources and the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation have teamed up to provide free vaccinations, registrations and microchip services. Dogs must be at least eight weeks old to receive the DA2PP vaccine and three months or older for the rabies vaccine.
County ordinances require all dogs four months and older to be registered and up to date on their rabies vaccination, a news release said.
The staff said all dogs brought to the clinic must have on a leash.
The clinic opens at 8 a.m., Saturday, April 2, and will close at noon or until supplies last at the Wimauma Civic Center, 5705 Hillsborough St., Wimauma.
