Special Needs Arts Programs Inc. (SNAP), is seeking an Assistant Teacher to provide support in our visual arts classes for individuals with special needs. Responsibilities include assisting the Art Director in class preparation, setup and cleanup, direct student volunteers as needed, as well as providing instruction, support and encouragement to participants. Candidates should have interest or experience with art or craft materials, and interest or experience in teaching, caretaking or working with adults and children with disabilities. Candidates should be flexible, able to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humor. Programs take place at the Lexington Community Center.
