Press release from the Scotts Valley Unified School District: August 10, 2020 Dear Parents, In response to community need, SVUSD is offering a Town Hall focused on Reopening Schools for 2020-21. Superintendent Tanya Krause, and Assistant Superintendent Michelle Stewart will be providing an overview of school schedules, changes in instructional delivery and expectations, and answering questions from the community. Additionally, SVUSD will be sharing a document for the Reopening of Schools on Wednesday morning, August 12th, available on the District's webpage. The Town Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2020 5:30-6:30 p.m. via ZOOM webinar: Zoom Webinar link for 8/12/2020 We encourage the community to submit questions in advance, in order to make the time we have together efficient and organized. Please use this form to submit questions. Although there will be an opportunity to submit questions during the webinar, we will have prepared talking points in advance. (Please note, participants who "call in" will not be able to submit questions live.) All comments and questions will be monitored and collected, and we will follow up with additional resources as needed and update FAQs on the website. We have created a web page devoted to distance learning. The Town Hall meeting will be recorded and can be accessed after the meeting is over on the distance learning webpage.
