The Fort Worth Public Library is hosting an educational partner, Dementia Friendly Fort Worth, to share strategies covering a wide range of topics, such as legal and financial planning, wills and estate planning, long-term care solutions, advance directives and funeral planning, and avoiding scams targeting older adults.
As a destination for discovery, the Fort Worth Public Library is a location for learners of any age. This program is designed for adults.
Here is the series schedule:
Dementia Live. April 12, 5-7 p.m. and April 14, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Legal & Financial Planning. May 3, 5-7 p.m. and May 5, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Advance Directives and Funeral Planning. May 17, 5-7 p.m. and May 19, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
What Your Phone Can Do For You — But Watch Out For Those Scammers! June 7, 5-7 p.m. and June 9, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Presentations will take place in the East Gallery's Tandy Lecture Hall at the Central Library, 500 W. Third St.
