Antique Ten-piece Elizabethan carved oak dining room suite consisting of:
Dining room table – Rectangular top with incised line on top edge over two pull out leaves and resting on a carved frieze. Supported on heave bulbous baluster legs ending with square feet and joined with a stylized stretcher. 70” long X 40” wide, not including the leaves.
Set if six chairs- Two chairs with arms and four side chairs with straight backs and scrolled ears. The slip seats resting on a scalloped seat rail and supported on turned legs, terminating on bunn feet. Joined with molded stretchers.
Sideboard- Rectangular to with molded edge over a frieze containing three drawers over a cupboard door flanked by drawers. All with oval brass pulls. Supported on heavy bulbous baluster legs ending with square feet and joined by molded stretchers. 75” wide X 22” deep X 36” high.
Small server or hutch-Rectangular top with molded edge over two doors, over one long drawer. All with oval brass pulls and flanked by stop fluted pilasters and terminating with straight legs. 42” wide X 9” Deep X 59” high.
Cupboard- Rectangular top molded edge over a frieze. Supported on heavy bulbous bluster uprights with one door over one long drawer over two large cupboard doors. All with oval brass pulls. Flanked by stop fluted pilasters. 44” wide X 20” X deep 59” high.
The entire set carved with flower heads, Gadrooning, Acanthus and Various other decorations.
