Press release from the City of New Orleans: March 25, 2022 NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans today issued two Requests for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide curbside solid waste and recyclable materials collection services to residential and small businesses located in Service Area 2 (see maps below). RFP number 1862 is for Service Area 2-West and RFP number 1863 is for Service Area 2-East. Proposal submissions are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 and the City's selection committee anticipates evaluating the proposals the week of May 16.
