The University of Iowa search committee for the new university ombudsperson has selected three final candidates. The candidates will participate in open forums March 28 to April 1 where they will meet with faculty, staff, students, shared governance, and campus leadership.
The open forums will be in person. To accommodate all schedules, a Zoom link will be available, and questions may be submitted via chat to the forum moderator.
The dates, times, and locations of the forum are as follows:

President Barbara Wilson in February named Jan Waterhouse, assistant vice president for employee relations and inclusion in University Human Resources, as chair of the search committee to replace Cynthia Joyce, who retired March 11 after more than 15 years as the university ombudsperson.
