Learn about the artistic process and tonal aspects of 12 new instruments made by Dick Boak. Join the Moravian Historical Society on April 24 at 4:00 p.m. for this talk by Dick Boak about his newest instruments—10 guitars and 2 ukuleles. Boak will discuss the artistic process, choices made, and the tonal aspects of these one-of-a-kind instruments. Boak, retired from the C. F. Martin & Co., has worked over the last year creating these unique instruments in his home shop. He will be joined by musician Craig Thatcher who will demonstrate the instruments. Tickets are $20 for admission and $10 for members. Space is limited so purchase your ticket today!
