CDL Pump Truck Driver Job Summary The Pump Truck Diver is a key role on our Service Operations Team. The Pump Truck Driver operates a company Vac Truck, by driving to various locations in our service area to pump and clean septic tanks as directed. Driver may have to locate and dig up tanks when required. Driver may nee to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to septic system components. Overview and Responsibilities Driver truck to and maneuver around various residential, construction and rural sites. Pump, Clean and maintain customer septic tanks and components Empty the truck contents and disposal site Keep Disposal Site Clean and maintained to company standards Communicate record service times, delays, property damage and upload appropriate photos into each job if necessary Complete required paperwork and submit to the dispatcher at the end of the day Provide routing and customer service feedback to Operations and Dispatch Perform all work duties in a safe and timely manner, and in compliance with all safety standards Perform duties by sitting standing stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. In addition, perform lifting up to 100lbs and pushing on a frequent basis during shift. Be able to interact with clients in a professional manner. Qualifications Applicant must have a current CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and a current DOT physical card Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must be able to pass pre-employment and random company and insurance drug tests. Knowledge of Whatcom Island and Skagit County a plus. Be able to interface with customers at each stop, if necessary. Take responsibility for specific check in and check out procedure.
