Rehoming plott hound

We are in need to unfortunately rehome our 4 year old male plott hound, Rockee. We just moved and our new place has no yard and we can not fulfill his needs anymore sadly. He is a very energetic dog and needs a home that is active and with a yard that is fenced. He would be best as the only animal in the home. We do have 3 young children and he's done great with them but he would do better with older kids that understand boundaries and wouldn't want to jump all over him. He likes his space. He does love to cuddle under blankets though and loves giving hugs. He's a great loyal dog. I would prefer he goes to a home with someone who understands hound dogs. He can be very stubborn and would benefit from someone knowledgeable in training. He is Neutered and house broken. We can leave him out in the house and he does not destroy anything but he also does good in the crate. He is super goofy and loves to play catch with tennis balls. He loves a good Tug a war and loves going to dog parks and just running his heart out. He needs to be on a leash when not in a fenced area his recall is terrible and will take off to where ever his nose takes him. He is very vocal and will talk back haha he will let you know if another animal is near by and he will greet you with his big booming bark. It's loud but just full of excitement. Small rehoming fee.
