Press release from the Savannah Police Department: Bianca Johnson March 30th, 2022 SAVANNAH, GA (March 30, 2022) – Savannah Police detectives are investigating a March 29 shooting on E. 57th Street that resulted in the death of a 42-year-old man. Around 1:30 p.m. officers responded to the 2200 block of E. 57th Street and found Anterro Jenks suffering from life-threatening injuries. Officers provided immediate emergency assistance. He was transported to Memorial Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
