CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City police are seeking a number of suspects after a slew of armed robberies that took place last week. Armed Robbery at Mini Mart, March 24 Culver City Police DepartmentOn Thursday, March 24, a cashier at a Mini Mart on 4273 Overland Avenue told police that a suspect approached the register and pointed a handgun at him. The suspect opened the cash register, pocketed $500 in cash from the register, and then ran out toward Braddock Drive. Police say they believe the suspect is responsible for similar robberies around Southern California. The suspect is described as a male Latino, 20-25 years old, wearing a Washington Nationals hat with "Diablos" embroidered on the side, a long gray sleeve shirt, dark pants, black and white Nike shoes, gloves, and a black face mask. Footage can be seen on the CCPD Facebook page. $13,000 Rolex Stolen in Parking Lot, March 23 The department is seeking two suspects wanted for the armed theft of a $13,000 Rolex wristwatch that occurred Wednesday, March 23 at the parking lot of a shopping center at 11463 Washington Boulevard. The victim told police that two suspects approached his side door as he was leaving his car. One pointed a handgun against his chest and demanded his watch. The suspect then pointed the gun toward the victim's head, took his watch and cell phone, then punched him in the head. Both suspects ran away toward Washington Boulevard and out of sight. One suspect is described as a Black male in his early 20s, 5'8", 210 pounds, and wearing a face mask. The other is described as a Black male in his early 20s, 5'8", 180 pounds, and also wearing a face mask. Armed Robbery at Gas Station, March 18 Culver City Police DepartmentOn March 18, four suspects robbed a Shell gas station on 3801 Sepulveda Boulevard. Two cashiers told police that four men entered the store and began talking to them. Then three of them pointed semi-automatic handguns at them and demanded money from the register. The cashiers removed $438 from the register, and the suspects fled southbound on Sepulveda Boulevard. Their vehicle is described as a newer model white Mazda CX5 with a Galpin Ford paper license plate, and a black marking on the left rear bumper. The four suspects are described as follows: Male Latino, approximately 18 years old, 5'3 to 5'5, skinny, black hair, wearing a blue mask, blue hat, black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and blue shoes. The suspect was armed with an olive-colored semi-automatic handgun. Male Latino, approximately 18 years old, 6'0', medium build, brown hair, wearing a blue mask, black and white colored hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Male Latino, mid to late 20s, 5'5 to 5'7, medium build, wearing a blue mask, Boston Red Sox cap, gray shirt, gray sweats, and blacks shoes.
