Looking to rehome two Ackbash Livestock Guardian Dogs - brother and sister Tripper and Krissi - both about 5 years old. Tripper is slightly longer-haired and Krissi is short-haired. They are experienced working with sheep and have been guarding my mom's sheep flocks for the last 2 years. Sadly, my mom recently passed away from cancer and her sheep have since been rehomed, leaving the dogs jobless and in need of new homes. Tripper and Krissi great at keeping predators away, experienced with lambing, and are extremely sweet with people. They love getting pets and belly rubs. Rehoming requirements/info: - Must be experienced with Livestock Guardian Dogs and should know how to transition them into a new home. - Ideally I'd like them to go to the same farm, but will consider separating them. - Understands that they can never live together in the same pen/paddock because they fight. - Understands that they will kill cats, chickens, or any small animal that wanders into the pen. - Property/pen must be well-secured and fenced in. Both dogs are diggers and will easily escape a pen that is not well-secured. Most importantly, I want both dogs to go to loving homes where they can live out the rest of their lives.
