CVS has also expanded their test sites throughout the Garden State. Don't see one listed for your town or surrounding Patch town? There are other ways to get tested: Quest Diagnostic has testing sites in New Jersey as well as kits available to test from home. LabCorp also has testing options including home kits. Walmart also has testing capacity at select locations. The CDC has home testing protocols as well. Department of Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said the data gathered from the testing will allow for the most important containment activity available: isolation and quarantine. "In order to do that you need to test people, find the positives, isolate positives find their contacts and isolate and quarantine depending on their symptoms," she said. "That's the best tool we have in our toolkit to stop the spread." Thanks for reading! Learn more about posting announcements or events to your local Patch site. Have a news tip you'd like to share?
