Job Summary: This entry-level position is trained in various roles within our Operations Department. Crewmembers will work on Field crews delivering, installing, and servicing party tents; as well as with Warehouse Crews packing, staging, and cleaning inventory items before delivery. Successful candidates will be trained in multiple jobs before receiving a more permanent assignment. This is a great way to join a growing company and acquire valuable job skills you can carry into the future. We are looking to develop long-term employees who will eventually be ready to rise to leadership positions in our company. Duties: • Takes direction from Forman or Project Manager during job assignments • Travels to various job sites with the Field Crew, often at a great distance; all road time is paid but travel time can exceed four hours in one direction • Helps to unpack equipment at the job site and to organize set up efficiently • Uses appropriate tools and equipment to construct temporary field structures • Follows project plans and field diagrams to execute accurate job set up • Ensures timely and efficient “turnover” of rental products between use, an ongoing task throughout the day • Helps to maintain and clean inventory including tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, piping, drapes, and kitchen equipment • Supports customer satisfaction whenever possible • Practices standard safety guidelines at all times and helps to support a safe worksite • Learns all standard operating procedures for Field Crew and Warehouse Crew; seeks direction if unfamiliar scenarios arise • Maintains and services standing tents during inclement weather as needed • Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times while working with customers and crewmembers • Performs other duties as assigned by the Field Foreman, Project Manager, or Operations Managers Work Schedules: This seasonal position typically works a five- or six-day work week. No cap on overtime. This position is offered on a seasonal basis, but may turn in to year-round employment. Year-round employment offers reduced offseason schedule. Qualifications: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and basic hygiene standards during work hours. Must be able to take direction and operate various tools and equipment.
