AWARD-WINNING CASTING DIRECTOR / AWARD-WINNING DIRECTOR Renee Garcia, is an Award-Winning Casting Director for her own casting company Renee Garcia Casting, as a Casting Director she has worked with star names such as Danny Trejo, Wayne Brady, Danny Glover, Dolf Lundgren, Keith David, Michael Madsen, Paul Sorvino, Ann Margret, Busy Phillips, just to name a few, she won a 2020 Casting Director Award and she was nominated by actors. Renee Garcia is also an Award-Winning Director and her short film “Immigrant Mother,” has won awards for Best Short Film, Best Female Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actors including Cristo Fernandez who plays Dani Rojas in the Emmy Winning Series, “Ted Lasso.” Renee originally started in the industry as an actress and appeared opposite of Vin Diesel in the original film, "The Fast and the Furious" and she is honored to be a part of such a long standing franchise. Renee Garcia is attached as the Director for the upcoming Union Feature Film, “World of Women: The Irrefutable Feud.” She continues to cast, direct and produce projects she is passionate about and where she can help others' dreams come true and grow in their careers, as her dream since a kid was to work in Hollywood.
