The inaugural Bay Area SpringFest is THIS SATURDAY, April 2, outdoors in Todos Santos Plaza in Downtown Concord. This one-day event celebrates the start of spring with music, food, children’s activities and exhibitors. The exhibitor areas will include plants, arts & crafts, jewelry and apparel, commercial vendors, non-profit organizations and much more in tree-lined Todos Santos Plaza. Admission is free to SpringFest, which is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a free raffle and free Pant Bag to first 400 couples or families. Free public parking garages are at either end of the plaza plus plenty of meter-free on-street parking. Live music on the Todos Santos stage helps attendees enjoy the beginning of spring in tree-lined Todos Santos Plaza. LaTiDo will set the stage on fire when their set begins at 11:30 a.m. with their fun repertoire that includes styles like Mambo, Cha-Cha-Chá, Guajira, Cumbia, Merengue and Bachata. Band leader Edgardo Cambón and his Grammy-nominated musicians delight Latin Music fans inspired by the Cuban traditional Buena Vista Social Club sound as by the 70’s New York Salsa and current Latin Pop. Mixed Nuts plays sets at 2 and 4 p.m. with hits from the 60s to today with vocalist Deborah Del Mastro. Free children's activities include balloon animals and hats and a chance to meet and greet Pete the Cat. Pre-register for free raffle and SpringFest updates:
