do you want to learn more about 924 Gilman? want to volunteer, but not sure how to get connected? unsure what we mean when we say “show up an hour before doors to volunteer”? want to hang out with some like-minded folks this Sunday, along with some Gilman staff? want to finally figure out what the hell the membership cards are for? curious about throwing your own shows? want to be a part of the legacy of punk rockers that came before you? come on by to 924 THIS SUNDAY, April 3rd, at 2:00 PM to get answers to all of the above questions - and some more you probably haven’t even thought of yet! Charlie, one of our head coordinators (and person writing this post 👋🏼) and longtime volunteers will be doing a little informal “training” so folks can get connected. they also made this flyer. they’re a dude of many talents (including, but not limited to, cooking oatmeal and conflict deescalation). no ticket needed, no cost to attend - just a vax card and a mask! shoot Charlie an email at if you have any access needs that can make this experience more accessible to you. we will be providing snacks, water, and a good ol’ time. come on by! make some friends! see the space up close! as always - we are all ages, all the time, which includes our volunteer base, so kiddos welcome. see you Sunday, punk rockers 🖤
