Ardovino's Desert Crossing is seeking a Groundskeeper for our property. Job Description Perform custodial and maintenance activities for ADC grounds, landscaping areas, equipment, and facilities. General Functions: • Cleans patios and walkways, parking lots and general grounds • Trims and prunes trees/shrubs/grass • Repairs benches and patio furnishings • Waters gardens and lawns • Provides general assistance during Farmers’ Market to include placement of signage • Maintains flower beds and gardens • Maintains compost piles Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to: • Work in different weather conditions with exposure to the elements • Learn cleaning, maintenance, and gardening methods, materials and equipment • Learn the operation of motorized equipment such as push lawn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers • Learn the proper use of hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, picks, shovels, spades, rakes, saws or similar tools • Learn irrigation techniques using sprinklers, hoses, and flooding methods • Understand and follow oral and written instructions • Move heavy objects • Bend and stoop repeatedly over time Interested Applicants Must Apply In Person at Ardovino's Desert Crossing 1 Ardovinos Dr., Sunland Park, NM 88063
