Condominium Association Rooftop Pool and Sundeck Lifeguard Positions

This is a seasonal position that starts when the weather is warm enough to open our pool, hopefully before Memorial Day (May 30th 2022). The season will close when the weather becomes too cold to keep the pool open. The pool hours are 8am-10pm. Very flexible shifts to work around your summertime schedule. In past years we have had great success working with students taking summer courses, attending summer camps, and pursuing other ventures while still being able to earn some money while working for us. We are looking for a small group of candidates who are able to communicate and adhere to the schedules that they provide to us. We are flexible regarding what that schedule is, but we need to know ahead of time in order to properly accommodate it. Requirements: -Must have or obtain Red Cross Lifeguard Certification before you start -Must be at least 17 years old before beginning -Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Duties: -Monitor the pool and sundeck area to ensure that residents and guests are adhering to the pool rules -Enforce the rules as needed -Deploy aquatic lifesaving measures, as needed -Check-in residents and guests as they arrive and leave the pool -Monitor the number of guests allowed per resident -Monitor the number of total number of people in the pool and sundeck Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Masks are currently required indoors, but not required out on the sundeck or in the pool, as long as safe distances are being maintained.
