My lovely Floofer, Percy is looking for a new home. He's 2 1/2 years old. I rescued him 8 months ago. The folks I got him from had him only a week and couldn't offer me any history. My suspicion is it wasn't great. Percy is all about being a Livestock Guardian Dog. When I first got him he was a HUGE handful but he's come a long way...still has a way to go. Because he is all LGD, he is NOT a dog park dog. So the poor guy rarely gets to be off-leash. I think he may actually be used as a Livestock Guardian. At any rate, in addition to feeling he would be happier with more freedom, I'm having hip replacement in June. Percy outweighs me by #15 and I don't know how long it will take me to be able to walk him.
