Indie is a 1/2 pit 1/2 mastiff We’ve unfortunately come to the decision that our girl needs a better suited home 😔 we think a home with no small children and no other dogs is necessary. My kids are 5 and 3 and are gentle with our dogs but she has snapped at my 3 year old multiple times breaking a small amount of skin once and today attacked another dog thankfully no skin was broken on this other dog but in the process she knocked over my 3 year old and was not aware he was even there he could have gotten seriously injured I am trying to be extremely open and honest so you know what you’re getting we had 0 aggression issues prior to moving into our apartment 6 months ago she hasn’t adjusted well making her aggressive on leash with others we’ve never had issues at the dog park or walking around downtown/hikes before moving we’ve given her time to adjust and settle but the behavior has just gotten worse and we don’t have the time or funds to get her into training as well as at this point I don’t trust her around my kids or taking her out. Do not come at me I believe sometimes there are better suited homes for dogs and mine isn’t suiting her anymore I don’t want her to end up in a shelter and my kids come FIRST!!!! This dog is my baby I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old unfortunately it’s just not working out living where we do and we can’t change that right now. She turned 1 in July and does require to be on allergy meds as she gets hives there is a rehoming fee and I reserve the right to tell you no she’s not a good fit for your home.
