MADISON, NJ—Madison High School ranked 32 out of 308 New Jersey schools based on average SAT scores, according to the latest Department of Education numbers. Madison students averaged a 607 in the reading and writing portion and 612 in math during the 2018-2019 school year, the most recent data available. The combined scores resulted in 1219 out of a possible 1,600. The data was compiled as part of the annual New Jersey School Report. The scores represent a six point jump in average math scores from the previous year, while there was no change to the reading and writing average.
