Hello world! Currently seeking cool, talented, femme players to start a cover band with me. It’ll be something like a garage rock band but a little tighter and more professional. I want to have fun but I also want to SOUND GOOD and get cool gigs eventually. I will be playing lead guitar and singing lead vocals. I’d love to find a groovy drummer, tight ass bass player, and dreamy synth zaddy (++ who also plays guitar for harmonized guitar stuff). Back up vox are a huge huge HUGE plus. A little about me - I’m Catherine, a Berklee educated singer and multi-instrumentalist. I’m working on my solo album which is dreamy/vibey, but I’m starting to feel like I just want to scream and play rock and roll. That’s where all my favorite bands come in. Stuff like Nirvana, Audioslave, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, 311, Tears for Fears, No Doubt. And honestly I’ll probably wanna play some Shania Twain at some point too… Full disclosure, I’m a bit of a perfectionist but trying to loosen up!! Not looking for beginners. Would love to have fun with music again, but also hoping to sound tight and in tune and write cool, creative, and intentional arrangements that make us happy as well as future audiences.
