A company located in Phoenix that delivers a unique portfolio of integrated electrical raceway solutions is now hiring for General Production Workers! Location: Phoenix, AZ 85009 Pay: $17/hr Shift: 1st shift: 6am - 2pm Job Responsibilities: - Load steel coils on uncoilers - Inspect steel width, gauge, and quality prior to loading coil. - Remove scarf waste, zinc dross, and keep front of pot and inside/outside of exit block clean. - Keep supply of sand on hand near pot. - When mill goes down clean zinc from tube & exit block at zinc pot. - When mill starts up, start induction, turn on air to air ring, and start zinc pump. - Keep assigned area clean and orderly. - Band rejected coils. - Clean zinc pots. - Maintain proper operation of, and change air ring. - Assist in clearing out fold ups. - Change end plates and exit blocks during changeovers.
