Bebop, swing, jazz blues anyone?

Hey everyone, I play bass and have a passion for swing, bop with a focus on walking lines (for bass). I'm really looking for people to practice with and not actively seeking to start a band, although that's not out of the question if we sound good. I also play guitar, that pink bullet strat in the photo is mine (I've never known love like this before :) ) Looking to make some music and hopefully make some friends. I don't have a demo tape. I don't have youtube videos. I'm just looking to play some music with other humans. Tired of the jam tracks. I'm in Melbourne. With the price of gas I'd prefer you be in Melbourne/Palm Bay. I have gear and I can play. I'm 51 years old, male and I have very diverse musical tastes. Open to playing other stuff too but not looking to do a dinosaur rock cover band (even though I like much dinosaur rock).
