Hey Doood;
I don't understand your post. Are you for or against providing a song list or a sets list?? My view is that every musician should have a song list and / or a sets list of what they would like to play. IT'S CALLED BEING PREPARED! You should also have a lyric / chord sheets notebook of those songs because, odds are, that one or more of the other "jammers" won't.
You don't have to be a pro to act like one. The reason musicians don't have a song list is that they are TOO LAZY. If you just want to have a casual jam then a "minimal" list is ok, so you don't have to stand around arguing over what song to jam on, but if you say you want to gig, THEN COME PREPARED with a complete song / sets list or don't waste everyone's time. Anyone wishing to reply to this post should INCLUDE THEIR NAME.
