Hello, im Female looking to make some new friends to share interests with. ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' Looking for talented trumpet player for events with pro cover/dance band. Everything is charted so if you're a good sight reader you'll do fine. We have other trumpet players who take some of the dates so no major commitment is necessary. but I'm into basically 95% of bands throughout the punk genres. Have been singing for almost 20 years but not really worried about a skill level or how long you've been playing, just so you can play haha. But also willing to join an already formed band as well. Live in Woodstock but I'm willing to travel. Hmu! We jam/rehearse in the crozet area once a week. We are both cordial and easy to get along with. We're both huge metal and grind heads so we're doing this for fun but we're also wanting to take it seriously as we plan to put out a legit demo. We're looking for someone who's reliable and devoted. I want your expertise in your chosen instrument, and I want what makes you a unique player. I just want you to find how you will fit within the boundaries of the songs I've written. When we write new songs they will not stray outside of what I feel like is on brand for the band. I am in need of rehoming my 1.5 yr old red tail boa named Iris. She is about 2ft long.but I'm not what you would call a lead player but I know my chords and scales both on guitar and bass. Sorry, I'm not a lead singer. I wish I were because that would open the door for me to other opportunities. Past audio productions have received diverse recognition and accolades from festivals such as the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival (WCFF), Smaragdni Eco Film Festival (Croatia), as well as the International Animated Short Film Festival AJAYU (Peru), the Chain NYC Film Festival, the New York City Jazz Film Festival, and the Mostra Internacional de Dança: Imagens Em Movimento (Brazil). He is also a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). I can often just craft harmonies by ear, on-the-fly, with a clarion high-and-lonesome sound. Happy to rehearse & jam just about anytime, but would prefer gigs be paid & reasonably local... I have links on Reverbnation and YouTube hit me up, I'm 77. I've had many bands need keys, drums, bass. I play bass and synth and other stuff and would love to get with a drummer that is creative and likes non traditional drumming. Need to get back playing and writing with creative people again. Interested in some sort of darker groove oriented heavier psychedelic rock and roll. Mellow, trancy and beautiful are all great things as well. Eventually incorporate other instruments. Afro beat and stoner metal? Massive Attack and Tool? Really leave it open ended because the influences are vast. Rezn. Ty Segall. Steppenwolf. Colour Haze. Kyuss. Sunnata. Dreamtime. King gizzard. King Crimson. I don’t really have a place to set up drums other than my garage. The link below is a handful of demo ideas sort of in this direction, but it’s all me so it’s limited.
